Mon. Ezek 37:1-14 A Valley of Dry Bones
What can you do to help you understand God’s plan for the world?

  1. Monday: I can understand God's plan for the world by reading the bible. The bible tells exactly what God wants us to know about what is going to happen to the earth in the future. Also we can know more about what is going to happen to the world by praying and asking God. In this passage God tells Ezekial to prophesy to the people. He prophisied to them and said what God told him to say which was to let them know that the breathe they had was from Him.

  2. Tues. Daniel 1:1-21 Coping With Pressure to Conform
How do you think Daniel would react to the pressure situations in your life?

I think he could help me in pressure situations in my life. I think he would react calm, help me have peace, and help me to solve the situations the correct way. In this story Daniel does what God tells him to do. He tells him to drink water and vegetables unlike the other men who were eating at the king's table. He told the guard in ten days to see the result from him drinking just water and vegetables from all the other men. So in ten days the guard came to see if what he said was true and, because Daniel listened to God, everything he said was true.

  3. Wed. Daniel 2:1-24 A King’s Dream
What do you do in situations that seem hopeless?
In situations that seem hopeless I ask my mom for advice and pray. My mom has been through most of the stuff that I go through so she knows how to handle it correctly and God always gives perfect advice. In this passage King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream that none of his wise men can interpret. The king was so furious no one could figure out his dream that he ordered all of his wise men be out to death and Daniel wondered why they were being put to death so he asked. Then someone told him why there was such a harsh decree and he went to the king and asked for time to interpret the king's dreams.Daniel then went to God for him to interpret the king's dream.

Thurs. Daniel 2:25-49 The Meaning of the Dream
Who gets the credit when things go right in your life?
Most of the time when things go right in my life I get the credit. I love that about my life because my mom always knows when I did and did not do certain things because she raised me right from wrong. In this passage Daniel interprets the King's dream with God's help. He said the king's dream and exactly what it meant. Because Daniel did this, the king put Daniel in a high position over Babylon.

  4. Fri. Daniel 3: 1-30 Three Friends in a Furnace
What examples can you give of God’s protection in your life?

I always have a great example of God's protection because I had something happen to me in third grade that literally could have killed me. I was on my dad's shoulders and my friend came to tickle me so ofcourse I let go falling head first to the concrete. My dad and mom both said that when my head hit the ground it sounded like a coconut cracking but I didnt feel ABSOLUTELY one thing. It was the biggest miracle that had ever happened in my life and when I got home that night I remember crying because of how much I loved God.In this passage the king set up a huge idol and everyone in Babylon had to worship it or they would get thrown into the furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not worship it because they knew they were only supposed to worship God. They threw them in the furnace and like the miracle in my life they were saved by God who actually came into the fire with them.
